I had my bartholyn cyst when im pregnant with my 3rd child. My ob ask me if i want to do a surgery after i gave birth but when i check how much its too expensive for me. it cost 4k singapore $. I tried checking online for home remedies but so far non works for me. I tried doing sitz bath with epsom salt. i also tried the mixture of which hazel, calamine lotion and tea tree oil also didnt work just burn my skin down their. I also tried sitz bath with apple cider vinegar. all of them didnt work for me. I tried to take serrapeptase but in singapore only got 10000 iu so i take 4 tablet in the morning w empty stomach so far no difference.

2 days ago im so stress already because of this cyst so i decided to try the apple cider vinegar again put with hot water and dump it in my cyst using cotton balls. It makes my cyst looks pale and like numb and few more minutes it start bleeding. Izzit normal? The next day when i check on it it look like a skin full of ulcers. But then at night I still continue doing the same methods. It still bleeds but not painfull dont worry. after doing that i spray with silica spray with tea tree oil its so soothing. hope it burst tonight when i do it again. really desprate now.

    Hi All,

Just want to inform you all that the method i use really works for me.

    10ml of apple cider

    20ml of hot water

use cotton balls to dump it on your cyst until you finish all the mixture.

you will see it turns pale and it will slowly bleed

    after doing that wash it.

use silica spray and  spray it directly to your cyst and put some on your panty liner.

morning take serrapeptase also know as serratiopeptidase in a empty stomach.

i can only get in singapore 10000iu so i take 4 tablets in the morning.

on the 3rd day im really surprise the cyst is not der any more. i didnt know if it burst or just dried up coz i also have my period on the day it happens. really so glad. 5 years of hell now gone. my life will be back to normal. i will still keep taking the serrapeptase hope it wont come back again.

I've been getting these since I was 19 (before I even became sexually active) and I'm nearly 28. There has been no rhyme or reason to how, why, and when they come. I just had my 13th one drain yesterday finally so I consider myself a pro at this Bartholin's cyst thing by now lol! Over the past year I've had it come back eight times. It's awful! I'm planning on scheduling the marsupialization soon. I can say though the best thing to do is try to stay as active as much as you can stand. I have had every one of them drain voluntarily except for the first one. Staying in bed, taking antibiotics, etc. only prolongs it. They used to last a week or more for me. Now, with hot sitz baths and continuing my normal life as much as possible has reduced the time down to three days. Only the last day tends to be excruciating. I've tried all the other remedies too and none of them work. I know it isn't an ideal solution but if it's something you have to live with, you learn to make the best of it. The more pressure you can stand putting on it to help it burst while in a hot bath tends to work best. Good luck and all my empathy to those dealing with this awful ailment! This pain is truly horrible. Wouldn't wish it on anyone!

Hi BC pro! Just happened to read your post. I'm glad to hear being active helps, I am on my feet on my job all day bending, squatting, and lifting. I wasn't sure if it was doing harm or good. I've been dealing with what has to be a BC for approx. a month now. Is that a long time..? Up until recently my cyst was completely beneath the skin. Over the past few days it seems to be coming to the surface, I now have an actual bump, like it wants to come to a head. That's good right?

Also, I'm not in really any pain at all, just a bit of tenderness. Am I suddenly going to wake up in agony? I'm also on antibiotics btw.

I had a cyst that wasn't abcessed, but was just "there" for a few years in between episodes. It didn't hurt just could be a little annoying. When you start feeling it when you walk or it starts getting bigger over a short period or irritating is when you can tell an abscess is coming on. Honestly, it varies for me how long it takes to become very painful. This last time it was painful immediately. If you can get it to drain on its own I would highly suggest it. If you get it lanced every time it builds up scar tissue.

Thanks for the reply. I def wanna avoid getting it lanced. I just got a portable sitz bath that you put over your toilet and after only one sitting it feels less tender and bothersome! Gonna do it a lot along with hot compress aka a heated blanket crammed between my legs lol works well.
