Awwww jen, I hear u, unfortunately this is no easy surgery or recovery, remember each knee brings different results.   I'm 13 weeks and a very slow healer, only have a 104 degree bend but gettin there. I do everything I'm suppose to do, I.e. Exercises, eat well, drinks lots of water. I come hear for reassurance n encouragement. Patience n positive thinking is key. We have no other choice. Believe me I have my tearful moments, sometimes it's good to have a good one, gets all that frustration out. Please try to stay strong, we're all hear to listen n support.  Blowing healing blessings your way with a little soup n a glass of wine if u drink...... 🌬🍵🍷🍀 with some extra luck

A wife with advanced Parkinson's an unable to do much but minor cleaning and extremely slow movement doing that. The disease has created serious depression and anxiety so she will rarely leave the house.

Yes I full understand giving up once in awhile but then, like today we have our two youngest grandsons hanging out with us (the feed em and leave em alone age) and have a moment to enjoy life.

Stay with the process and toll get ther just don't put yourself on someone else's timetable.

Oh bless you sweetheart, you must be so fed up.

Try and stay calm for the next few days, obviously you know what to expect in the early days BUT.... one of the most important things I've learned on my knee journey, if anyone offers help, ACCEPT IT! It's difficult, it feels embarrassing, but if you have family and friends asking if you need anything....even if it's doing the dishes, making a flask of coffee and a sandwich, well take advantage of it. You know how much energy this recovery takes, so take whatever you can.

I wish you well with your surgery and continued recovery, let us know how you get on. And remember we are all here for you xx

Remember above all else every body is not the same, create your own time table and celebrate the victories you have made.  Rehabing doesn't always need to be on your feet, tighten muscles for 10-15 seconds and relax double can build you up to greater things.
