I was told 3 weeks ago that I have a aortic root aneurysm at 4.4 cm. It is a scary thought that there is a bomb inside of you that can explode. Going in a couple of weeks for a second catheter ablation . Has the atrial filbriation contributed to the problem.

Steve are you in the UK? It all seems very dramatic. What happened to make them find the anuerysm? 4.4 isn't very big mine is 4.9 I couldn't live thinking it was a ticking bomb...but there might be other reasons you are feeling like this. What catheter ablation? atriel filbriation?

Do not panic. Go to the doctor's control. It's still a little. If it needs to be changed, it's not a big problem. My size was 9.2 cm and I was operated and now everything is ok
