HELP

Hi,

I've shared before that I was starting to take chinese medicine for HS and so far my experience has been dreadful.

I've been taking the tea for 6 - 7 months so far and the doctor keeps changing the blend of herbs every time I see him.

The doctor keeps telling me that the boils need to clean properly and that the tea is helping them do that but the problem is its not just making the ones I already have sore, inflamed and leaking but it's making me develope new ones, big ones. It feels like my HS has doubled in severity. It's getting painful to move properly and I'm getting weird pains in my arm.

I'm really confused about how this is supposed to work because the doctor does say it's an immune problem and that my body isn't strong enough. But if it's an immune issue then why would it need to clean?

I'm worried that he's sending my HS into overdrive by pushing my body to leak out more pus.

I feel really lost and depressed. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thank you.

My doctor heard about treating flare ups with Desitin, the blue creamy kind not the purple one, and it not only worked in 2 days , it was also easy to wash off in the shower. 2-3 applications a day should wok. Also, THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART, ZINC GLUCONATE 50mg per day. I've been taking it for months and have been flare up free !!!!!

Having been in your situation, I concluded that like any profession, some Chinese doctors are better than others. I doubt that I would have perservered as long as you have with the one doctor, without any signs of improvement.

If I were you I would network until you find someone highly recommended.  It is very dispiriting I know, but stay positive and don't give up the search.  And don't overlook your diet - there does seem to be agreement of its role in beating this.  Best of luck
