This has been the worst experience ever . The pain pills aren’t working for me especially the Tylenol that’s all he could’ve give since I’m pregnant . Please help !!! Try a hot sitz bath with epsom salt. I've had mine for 3 weeks and 5 days. It was kind of painful for the first week, the second week was better as long as I sat down carefully and made sure it to pull it, by the third week I was fine and on my period. I do a sitz bath in the morning after a shower, then one with epsom salt in the evening before bed both lasting at least 10 minutes. I can tolerate really really hot water so it always made me feel better. I also used a blow dryer when I got out of the tub to dry the area really good. I only used pain my prescription for the first three days, then ibprophren took care of it for the rest of the first week. Not sure how Tylenol will do, but hopefully the baths will help. Hope you feel better. I get my catheter out next week, and I can't wait. It's not painful at all anymore, but is somewhat aggravating.
