Hi I have a question I had surgery may 10 for  fibroid removing and it been 4 weeks now I’m a little bit worried because my period came on the June 5 and I still have to do you think the fibroids have came back I’m really worried some help please

    Every woman is different so your period has come due to your body. Your doctor would have given you a leaflet/booklet on the procedure and information about before and afterwards. I suggest you contact your doctor for advice if not contained in the booklet/info provider to you

    I also had mine removed on the same day, I bled for around a week after then had 10 days clear before I started bleeding again. It has stopped again now but I have no idea when my period is due, it didn't come when I expected it to so I'm guessing the surgery has messed with my cycle! Definitely speak to your doctor, I wouldn't have thought they'd come back so soon (at least I hope not) but your doctor will be able to reassure you. Have you got any follow up appointments with the hospital?

      I had a laparoscopy done for a 10 cm fibroid on 29th aug, 18. My doctor told me i will not get my periods for 2 to 3 months but here i have bleeding which i cant call spotting. Other than this there is no other pain or issue apart from a little discomfort. I have messaged my doctor but still no reply. Is this normal? Has anyone faced this? Scared!!
