Help

I have been having severe pain in my lower left rib area. When I eat, I can't eat much because I feel full very fast. I have trouble breathing afterwards too. I went to the ER because the pain was intense. They did a CAT scan and said my organs looked fine but that I did have a medium to large hiatal hernia. I scheduled a follow up with my gastroenterologist. He proceeded to tell me that a hiatal hernia wouldn't cause me pain in my lower left rib area. He doesn't even want to do an endoscopy to look at the hernia. Im so confused and un so much pain. I plan on getting a second opinion but i wondered if anyone has encountered anything similar? Thank you in advance to anyone who responds.
