this is going to be long and i am going to insert pictures. I have had burning ever since I can remember. It started off one time ever few months then gradually increased. I noticed yellow discharge awhile ago. it will not go away and neither will the burning. I have burning at least twice a day even when i do not urinate. i went to my doctor and they thought it was a UTI. they took a urine sample and it was negative. i still had the issue and they took another urine sample and everything was negative. i then went back for another urine sample and they tested my urine for stds which was negative. I have never had unprotected sex. Now they will not help me anymore. Can someone tell me what this discharge looks like? i am attaching the photo in the commentsimage

looks very much like a yeast infection

a urine sample will probably not show signs of a yeast infection

you would need a swab taken

can you buy over the counter medication

I forgot to mention this. After the doctor quit helping I tried Monistat one and the burning stopped for a day or two but came back. I then tried Moniatar three and the burning stopped for a day or two but came back. Could it be a stubborn yeast infection or maybe I need to try something else?

I used Monistat One for one day. It was one capsule. Then I used Monistat Three for three days. It came with 3 capsules

it could be a resistant strain that requires a longer term medication
