Help - change of medication - did something completely out of character

HELP ME PLEASE - I am a 67 yr old male, I have had a series of strokes over past 3 years, - I am hemiparesis in a wheelchair - very recently I was given a change in medication, with known side effects of delusions & halucinations, this caused me to do something completely out of character - I now have criminal charges against me. (there was NO DAMAGE PROPERTY or HARM TO PERSONS ) just a disturbance

But the C.P.S (CRIPPLE PERSECUTION Sicko;s ) are intent on charging me with every offence they can think of, they have already had me REMANDED INTO PRISON CUSTODY for 10 WEEKS !

(I need a carer 24/7 - there is NOTHING available in prison - I was locked up for 22-24 hrs a day on my own with no stimulus - assistance or support for 73 days ! )

Where can I research information on medicines side effects and long term effects of strokes on my ability to make cognitive decisions

and or find an organisation or a professional who can help me with this, it is EXTREMELY STRESSFUL and hurtful

My legal aid (SIC) just want me to plead GUILTY -

All I have left in my life is my GOOD NAME

I feel very ALONE, ISOLATED & VULNERABLE

PLEASE HELP ME

Thank you

John H

    Hi John,

Unfortunately I can't really give you any other ideas other than to get your lawyer to make contact with your local community health department or dis-abled peoples advocates (that's what we call them here in Australia) With a change of medication your doctor or dispensing pharmacist even hospital pharmacy should have given you a Consumer Product Information sheet about the new medication. You can use your friend Google on here and you will find your drug on here with what it's suppose to do and it's side effects from minor to extremely rare, I hope this helps.

      Hi Samuels

yes I thought it would be pretty easy to prove about the medicines

but the CPS (CRIPPLE PERSECUTION society) and the Judiciary here in the UK are a sanctamonious load of anal retentives, they are doing everything they can to get me to plead GUILTY ??  telling me I have to PROVE the medicines did that to me.

But I aim to put my faith in the fact that the JURY is the just about the last remaining vestige of a trial here, that the CPS, Police & Judiciary cannot CONTROL with their choregraphed penguin waddling & posturing and a JURY will look for GUILT to be proven beyond any reasonable doubt (even then I know many the Judges go out of thier way to try to "instruct" a Jury as to its duties ") usually what they the Judiciary, CPS etc have agreed beforehand

Unfortunately the concept that a person being INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY is no longer valid in this once great country

It's all about getting "percentages of convictions " now and a Disabled person in a wheelchair probably looks an easy target to the powers that be (I have to question if they have any consciences though)

But I really believe I am the victim here, and that 12 of my peers will also see it that way in court.

I am rather hoping that this case will get picked up on Social Media and that public pressure will help ensure I get treated fairly and justly. But as an O.A.Pensioner I don't know how to do that.

But txs again for taking the time to respond, I really have been feeling very alone and vulnerable, it helps to know other people care

So Sorry to hear about your situation John sad . The words you say about the judiciary system all ring true for here as well ,lock the misdemeonors up and let the real criminals back into society with a community service  order and a 12month to 2 year good behavour bond....legal system really sucks down here too.

Have you spoken to the hospital where you stayed when you had your stroke(s) to see if the treating doctor will go into bat for you or even your own GP ?  I know it must be hard not knowing where to turn to for help in a situation like yours and of being aged pension but hang in there someone else might pop up on this discussion board and lead you into a better direction than me.

I find it extremely weird that your  CPS want you to plead guilty as well, very weird, their job is to help people like you and they should have the knowledge or answers you are seeking. Do you have legal aid ? It's a free service here in Australia but we don't get to pick our lawyer .

Sorry I can't help with the social media part either as I have no clue as to go about it either.

I know this is completely different but I was in a frustrating situation myself, What had happened to me was that I passed out for about 30 seconds  whilst driving and when I came to I was nearly in the oncoming traffics lane , I believe the blood pressure tablets that I had just been put on was the cause but my GP didn't seem to agree but stopped the medication and suspended my drivers licence right there on the spot  and told me it was only my Panic/Anxiety attacks playing up and he used this exscuse for around 3 years I had to have annual medicals for me to keep my licence when I got it back after 3 months of it being suspended on medical  grounds,My GP simply would not listen to me so I went to my Cardiologist and he said what a load of crap and he wrote to the department of transport and cleared me of the medical condition(s) that was placed on me and no more annual medical check ups to keep my licence,Although the Cardio did put one restriction on my licence and that was I couldn't drive a bus , I didn't want to be a bus driver anyway so that didn't worry me just as long as could get back to driving cars and trucks again..Thankfully my Cardio came into bat for me and basically over ruled my GP.

When I had 2 suspected TIA's the specialists told me that I couldn't drive for 4 weeks after both incidents which is understandable and they were great they accepted my word for it and didn't have to contact our transport department to cancel my licence.
