Try and divert your negative feelings with hobbies and new interests, that seems to work for me. It takes my mind of the probem

    Hi Chris,

From one Bipolar sufferer to another. I am really sorry about your situation and understand the heart wrenching grief caused from mental health illnesses. I too sufferred and lost eveyone and everything I had, including my self esteem. I claw my way out of bed with the help of lithium but still after a year my doc is still trying to find the right cocktail of meds.

Please join support groups for mental health and see your psychatrist as scheduled. Talk to a community health support worker to give you extra support. A supportnetwork of mental health workers and communicating with others who have mental health illnrsses. After I hear their stories, I don't feel so alone. My esteem is really bad for many reasons but I just try, cry and live a very marginalized life and grieving the life I wanted and thought I would have. Since my diagnosis, two years ago and I am fifty next month; I was sick with psychosis, delusions. Believe me I lost everything.

Try your best to get supports for yourself. And keep talking to others who are like us.

So sorry again, I know this is really hard. Keep in touch.
