Help diagnosing anal abscess??

Hi

I think i may have anal abscess but dont know. when i have diarrhea or some mushy bowel movement, a spot about 1cm outward/away from anus gets tender (left butt cheek). it hurts to sit down and feels more like a bruise. it hurts for like 3-5 days and then the pain goes away. the area is not red or anything.

does that sound like an anal abscess??

im not sure if its an internal haemorrhoid due to its location being on the side of my butt cheek
