one small red bump appeared about a week after i had unprotected sex. then more appeared to what it is now. it burns when i pee and sometimes it hurts to walk to sit down.
**** im only 16 years old so naturally im very scared to go to a health professional about this because i dont want my mom to know. thank you

there's no pic but even so from your description sounds suspect. even tho bumps can be normal if you shaved maybe. if they turn to blisters and an open wound then the possibility of herpes is higher. Being that young I don't think u can go to a clinic alone. your parents may be upset but it's something that needs attention and theres no other way around it as you should be seen.

the best thing you can do is tell your parents right away so that you can be seen promptly! sometimes if you wait, if it is herpes, the sores take longer to heal. sending lots of love and strength. take care of yourself, any backlash from your mom is not worth dealing with the pain from your condition. fingers crossed that is isn't serious!

you actually can go to a free clinic by yourself and go to the doctors where your parents cant know . its illegal to disclose patient info. i used to go to clinics by myself all the time at 16. go to a planned parenthood
