mine was at its worst a week before my period its a hormonal issue hormonal changes associated with your cycle can change vaginal PH, creating an environment for yeast to grow alot of people say to use boric acid although iv stuggled to be able to purchase it here oral probiotics and plain natural yogurt are supposed to be beneficial i started taking an oral probiotic for vaginal flora yeast and bv it was good at keeping the yeast gone and was a month before i saw results but iv stuck with them for the last 2 months

once the medications stops u need to have some kind of preventative that u can use long term such as probiotics to help keep the yeast balanced

Is yeast infection cause by hormonal imbalance??

if u get it before or after your period its most likley due to hormonal shift which happens before and after a menstrual period change in ph normally causes it

when the ph of the vagina changes it causes an overgrowth of yeast

i struggle to find boric acid capsules where i live too. I've also had trouble finding a good probiotic too so ive considered ordering from amazon. Also is there a way to keep your hormones balanced around this time, because my period is starting and the burning always intensifies during my period and then the week after.

no because its a natural part of your menstrual cycle its the hormones that start and stop your period estrogen and progesterone that natually fall and rise otherwise we wouldnt have periods
