Help - dry sinus issue going on weeks!

Got sick in January then major sinus issue . Was on antibiotics didn't work now steroid prednisone . My sinus and nose are so dry I can't take it !! I have used saline mist spray and netipot both work for about 15--30 minutes . Seriously I can't sleep anymore this is awful. Any suggestions please .

    James.  I can only suggest Evening Primrose Capsules. See my post Sinus infection-An Effective Treatment. The Evening Primrose oil will certainly help you, as it desensitises the nervous system, and should relieve the dryness. Another oil that may be beneficial is fish oil. Best of luck with your problem.

      So fish oil and primrose capsules ? And this has worked for you . I have been to an ENT and my normal doctor like 7 times now. On second day of steroids which have helped my nose just doesn't feel remotely normal

    Try giving up all dairy products James, it worked for me. Good luck

    A squirt of no more tears baby shampoo, and one fourth tsp seasalt in boiled or distilled, in a neti pot helps a lot. smile dena

      My naturopath told me it's a process of elimination in relation to diet and what triggers ie yeast infection and sinus problems. It's an ongoing challenge to slowly finding a cure in my case chronic rhino sinusitis

      I haven't changed anything in my diet but since I have read so much about noses now ,I did eliminate 85% of the dairy I normally consume -

      Vitamin a is supposed to helps lots with the muccus membranes and also a slice of pineapple is supposed to help with sinuses

      Please advise more on hour evening primrose oil benefits with sinuses ie post nasal drip ?
