Help exposure to chicken pox while in tocilzumbab

hi all ive been on tocilzumbab for a year and my daughter has got chicken pox- i remember seeing this could be dangerous foe me.. anyone been in same situation?

hi this is a reputable website and v informative regarding this drug.
if you can't download it then it advises you to contact your GP if you come into contact with chicken pox,

Sorry its not put my post up, its because i put a link on from the arthritis site uk, cant believe its not on their pass list.
it says to contact your GP if you come into contact with chicken pox.
thinking its to be on the safe side.

many thanks yes already called NhS 111 who all advised i must speak to my rheumatologist on monday before i take my next my injection.. as they are not specialists in this field. she would expect that i should stop the medication.
just praying im ok.. for my 3 year old as she going to need her mummy!

I hope and pray you will be OK and that it's not a big concern. I think it's fearful you may get shingles but I am not sure. Let us know what you find out xoxo

thank u for ur prayers yes your right but ive read that having rheumatoid arthiritius puts us in higher risk for getting shingles with or without anti tnf treatment.: the problem with anti tnf is we can get very sick if we are exposed to chicken pox or shingles and im now playing a waiting game to see if i have any reactions and to see when my daughters first spot appeared.. will jeep you all updated - been advised by 111 to go to A&E IF i have any reactions before monday.. so fingers crossed. i have been getting pins and needles in my feet but thathas been for a week.
