Help!! Feelings of uncomfortableness all of a sudden.

Posted , 3 users are following.

It's what the title says, today I've gotten the worst one yet, around 3 times this feeling which comes and goes suddenly. The only common factor I have when I feel this is when my décolletage is exposed. I've tried googling feelings of uncomfortableness suddenly but it just shows up depersonalisation. I'm not sure if it is, but I remember having this problem since I was as young as 11. I could be doing anything random then all of a sudden I am washed over by a wave of discomfort, sort of like exposed in a way, plus a little bit of shame like I'm naked or something. I just want someone to tell me what this is, so that I can find a treatment of a sort because this feeling is quite horrible. I don't get this a lot, maybe 1-3 times a year or something, and it doesn't happen all the time when my décolletage is exposed.

      Hi Miao,

I shouldn't worry to much. This feeling is nothing to be alarmed about

I would guess it's a sudden lack of confidence that washes over you, out of the blue

Feeling "exposed "  is a form of vunerability.

That it started at a time in your life when " body changes " were manifesting is telling. As our bodies metamorphise into that of young adults, we often feel self-conscious and embarrassed

Don't  let this feeling frighten you. Just let it wash over you. It will then soon ease

Indeed. Rarely a day passes when I heard a word/something, and think, What does that mean? / I never knew that!

Mind you, we'd be dull sausages if we knew EVERYTHING!  And insufferable too.LOL smile

It's not a feeling of that either, I am quite comfortable in my own skin. That is why this feeling is unusual. I'm wondering if it's a sort of panic attack, because whenever my chest is covered I feel safer and more comforted.

Possibly some form of panic attack then. It appears to be a momentary feeling of vunerability when you feel "exposed" that ignites it

I shouldn't let this frighten you further. Tell yourself it will soon pass and like as not it will
