Help - Herpes? *picture*

Had unprotected sex Friday 22nd, didnt have any symptoms at all, until a week after, I felt a small bump. The bump opened and turned into sort of a sore, but did not hurt when I peed or anything at all. I went to the clinic as soon as I noticed it and the took a swab, but I will not hear back for at leas another week or so. Now a week and a half later, I have another type of sore and I'm getting nervous that it could be herpes. However, after researching a lot, I dont have a lot of the symptoms associated with it and it doesnt necessarily look like what I've seen online. I do not have pain when pee touches the sores, I never had flu-like symptoms and it doesnt really hurt. Can somebody help me to identify what it could be and if they think it could be herpes, I am getting really anxious and nervous.

Any feedback would be great appreciated.

I think they need to upload new pictures online as hardly anyone has herpes like described in images online.

That does look like herpes to me, sorry to say. Keep calling them to get your results, and just try and relax as much as you can this week.

Do you have people you can speak to for support?

I do have friends I can talk to. I was just really hopeful maybe it was syphillis or something else seeing as I never had any of the other symptoms associated with herpes and it's not painful.

Thank you for answering. I will try my best to no worry about it until I hear from the clinic.

When i got my first outbreak it looked nothing like the pictures online. The pictures online seem to show very extreme cases.

However based on the picture you uploaded my sores actually initially looked like what you have ( of course i am not a doctor of any sort) but again just going based of what they look , they are similar to what i had before they turned into kinda white blisters like 2 days later.

I had one that started on Thursday/Friday and it already is healing (its the bottom one from the very visible one).. It never turned into a white blister. I realize it doesnt necessarily mean that it's not herpes, I'm just feeling really nervous, and trying to find any excuse as to why it wouldnt be herpes.

I know it didnt help that i mentioned my sores initially looked like yours in the picture. But as i said im no doctor! Maybe they are just ingrown hairs! Because when my sores looked like that i was already experiencing some pain when i peed and body aches. But either way if they did the swab you will know for sure! . I know you must feel so anxiouse to find out! Its not easy. But try not to stress too much, just know IF it is and i am in no way saying it is having hsv type 1 or 2 is more common than you think and you can carry on with a normal life!

    Hi

It could be ingrowing hairs they are similar and painful. Do they itch? If you have had a swap taken you will find out soon dont worry untill then.

I did have a swab taken. They dont really itch, they're just there. I am just really worried at this point. Thank you, I will try to not worry its just difficult with the huge amount of information online... It's almost all I can think about at this point.

This is what mine looked like. I had no aches or pain or flu and was really surprised to find out I had herpes! But I was diagnosed with hsv1! Fingers crossed you're safe though!

Really? You had no symptoms and it looked similar? Yeah, I'm hoping it's not, but not much I can do until I get the results.

      Thank you for sharing!
