Hi all.

I feel the hip pop out and both boy does it hurt than I get my bearing say and one quick move I pop it back it. The only movement I wasn't told

not to do wasn't any knee to chest. Granted I may subconsciously just do it. But I am certain in just bent downcast my work to get a temperature on a dog and it slipped out. Than within the hour it happened again from trying to pill another pet. I noticed it happened just standing from using the toilet Wednesday I to a scared me but I settled downcast quickly. Yes it has...I had a left anterior approach and my hip did subluxation 6 times in 12 weeks. I had to have a retention liner/cup put in and also conversion from a short stem to a long stem. All is good now!

I found that at about fifteen years post surgery that when I bent over to touch my toes that when I straightened up I would often experience a clonk. I could get a dislocation feeling if I let my leg just hang down.

    dear vettech ...

ouch !!!!! I would have it checked by surgeon, darling .... does not sound so good and you really don't want a dislocation ...

That is a physical demanding job you have so please be careful - try to slow down and be aware when and how this popping out happens and perhaps find another way to do it ???

    big warm hug

    Hi,

I strongly suggest that you make an appointment right away to see your surgeon.  This isn't normal by any means.  Be very careful in the meantime.

    Best of luck!
