Hot sweats are side effect of injections... I had one 3mg Decapeptyl injection each month for 3 months to stop my periods before I had a myomectomy due to a large fibroid... I had sweats, migraines and some sleepless nights. It's like going through a temporary menopause... Try speak to a homeopathist or your local health store who may be able to advise on alternative options that may be able to be taken to help with side effects of injections. If you haven't already gone through the menopause and are having a full hysterectomy with womb, ovaries being removed in January, may I suggest you speak to someone in your local health store who might be able to advise on what to take for the surgical menopause that you will experience after womb, ovaries are removed. If just your womb then you shouldn't experience this. Arnica will help with healing after operation. You should try take this a few weeks before your operation as this will help also... Local health store should have this (Weleda 30c is good brand). Also keep iron levels up and maybe a blood test to ensure they are within normal range levels - I was anaemic due to heavy periods (iron was 9.5 - should have been between 12 - 15)... So I had an iron infusion before op to bring iron levels up. You'll feel tired after op so important to keep iron levels up. Vit C helps absorb iron so start on a good multi vitamin now to build yourself up before hand.... And try keep fitness levels up also between now and op.... Hope all goes well for you... :-)

I've heard that a herbal remedy called Valerian (Kalms) can be good too. You can by them over the counter.

    Good luck x
