im really scared and i dont know what to think, about 6 days ago i had shaved with a razor that had rust because i wasnt able to change it the same day me and my boyfriend of 2 years had intercourse and always involves some type of oral. the next day i see a bump had appeared where my cut shouldve been then i notice that a few other bumps started to appear along with it and it honestly looks like infected ingrown hairs so i plucked a few of them out and sooner or later it started to scab over it. i also had recently went to my gyno and they said its a possibility that its folliculitis or herpes and im honestly so scared.image

If there is a hair in them it point's more toward's folliculitis but have a doctor look at them as it could be either

there was a hair in them and i took some of them out, there was some that i wasnt able to take out. i also got a test from cvs and i came out positive for uti

If they didn't turn into fluid filled blisters then I would guess more from the shaving. But it us worth getting checked out and if any are open sore insist on a culture

it was kind of weird at first it looked like it was under my skin and as the hair follicle came out so did the little bump. i havent got any fluid filled blisters but my gyno prescribed me valacyclovir just incase. i havent got my results yet either i just feel really paranoid.

if youve had sex theirs a way lol regardless if youve been in a relationship, as some people are asymptomatic and the virus can still be passed without sores present. i hope you dont have it but theirs always a possibility if youre sexually active

my parents have it and they told me that theres a better possibility that it can be folliculitis because i had shaved with a old razor and cut myself with it. i just believe that its not that and i really hope its not.

me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years and ive been on nexplanon and norethindrone for quite a while now, whenever we have sex he cums in me and now i have a lot of milky discharge do you think this can be a sign of a yeast infection?? my gyno also wants to do a pelvic ultra sound on me.

    • Posted

my first symptoms of hsv were yeast like discharge that changed to a very watery consistency, im on the nexplanon as well. why do they want to do a pelvic ultrasound?

    • Edited

because my pelvic has been hurting but i honestly think its because im on 2 different types of birth control and i havent got my period for 8 months

i am definitely late. But did you have a swab done on them or blood test? If it was a blood test you could just have oral herpes. if you picked out ingrown hairs then its Folliculitis.
