Posted , 5 users are following.

I discovered couple bumps on my anus a few months ago maybe three then now i have several which i thought were hemoroids but after treating them they didn't go away so now i am afraid they are anal or genital warts.

I had a one night stand with married couple and that is my only sexual activity in a year.Just my luck

So ashamed to go to my doctor and show them to anyone and scared

are there creams i can buy over the counter?

Emuaid?

sprry for gross photos thank you for your help

From the first picture it looks like hpv warts .You should definately get it checked and get treatment

Agreed, it looks like HPV. Do not use any OTC ointment. The doctors will discuss with you the appropriate treatment options.

im too embarrassed to show a doctor i have ordered some cream online

Just go see the doctor or sexual health clinic. Otherwise you'll be living with them.

And remember that these warts come up with low immunity, so you could have had the HPV virus that causes them before you met that couple. But you never know!

HPV isn't really a sexual disease, you can get it by shaking hands with someone has been touching their warts without washing afterwards.

But, like all Viruses, it spreads easily between us humans. For most people, they get it as a child from family & friends. So you can have it as a virgin.

As adults, it's seen as sexual since the warts grow in places we like to have contact with for long periods of time for sexual reasons.

Also like any STI, get it sorted once you realise what you have. Prevent it causing you or those you have fun with having further problems.

I have no idea about which is the best treatment, hence I recommend seeing a doctor. Ointment creams & freezing are mainly recommended I understand.

Hi, I understand how you feel but let me calm you down by sharing my experience with you. You can treat the outer warts with with food grade hydrogen peroxide (12%), apply it with a Q-Tip 2-3 times a day. It will start to sting and dry up the warts, until you can just scratch them off. Takes about a week or two. Works like a charm without scars for me. There's a possibility that you may have warts INSIDE your anus too, get that checked afterwards. 😃

      thank you so much

i am so worried im stuck with them for life

ill check but don't think they are inside

excuse my ignorance but where do you buy food grade peroxide?

    • Edited

Oh no sweetheart, don't worry! There are so many ways to get rid of them, you won't be stuck with them for life. Some people even call them "love bumps", you're definitely not alone. A lot of people get them after being intimate with someone. I ordered the 12% hydrogen peroxide online, plenty of shops sell it in different percentages. The usual 3%, that a lot of people use for oral care, is too weak tho. 12% is ideal for wart removal, efficient but not too harsh. Let me know if you still have some questions. (:

Noooo! Don't use hair bleach please, it's something completely different. Please just get a 12% hydrogen peroxide solution from any online shop...
