Help Identifying Possible Herpes Lesions on Penile Glan

Posted , 5 users are following.

This started two days ago. I am uncircumcised. I have no pain, no tingling, no other symptoms e.g., discharge, pain urinating, just these red bumps. I have HSV1 and get cold sores once every 1-2 years on my lips. I have never had unprotected penetrative sex, only oral. Is this Herpes or another skin condition? imageimage

When was the last time you had any sexual encounters? This seems to be early phases of syphilis lesions or like you said, possibly herpes. I definitely would not wait to get a full panel blood work done for the common STIs.

I have similar kind of issue. Had oral and unprotected, after that it has started. HSV1 and HSV2 test came -ve for me, I did blood test and swab test. Rest I am yet to do, was thinking like balanitis but had doubt of syphilis.

i could be wrong but syphilis presents as a painless sore. Herpes would share the same red base and would blister. i would get checked out but it could be irritation

Did you figure out what is the issue? Any recent picture?

The photos were recent as of late last week. I will try to get a STD test this week. The lesions have not gotten any bigger or smaller. There is no pain or otherwise any symptoms really. I am dumb founded as everything that I have read regarding HSV2 mentions oral transmission is rare. In addition, CDC and other sources mention pain. Then there is conflicting information that is can be completely painless and look like a pimple or irritated hair follicle.
