its been like this for more than 2 years i m just afraid to visit a doctor till now but now i m freaking out i will do visit him but is this a major problem please can someone help me with this ?

I'm not an expert, but judging by the color and texture and the amount of time you say it's been like this, I'm pretty sure that what you have there is a fungus.
You should definitely see a dermatologist because an infected nail can infect your other fingernails and toenails and even spread to other people.
The treatment should not be too complicated.

Yes this is fungus infection, you should’ve treated it when you first noticed it. Leaving it alone for such a long time and not treating it makes it hard to treat
