i have been in a relationship with the same boy for almost 2 years. we broke up over 2 months ago and he slept with another girl. he wore a condom, and she got tested afterwards for stis and she was negative. he and i hooked up after this occasion and i never had any symptoms. last week, he and i used an inanimate object. i dont know why we thought this was a good idea, but we did it anyways. i immediately was sore afterwards but thought nothing of it. a couple days later, it became very hard to urinate and it was itchy and burning. i got treated for a yeast infection, but the medication did nothing. in fact, that evening, i developed blisters and i became extremely swollen. i'm scared and i dont know what is happening down there and would like help please. the only way i can use the bathroom is in a tub, i am on valacyclovir, cephalexin, and am using lidocaine cream. is this a herpes outbreak or something else? please please help!!

you havent posted any pics .....

could be a number of things

not sure what the object was -- possible you are having a negative reaction to it ? / irritation from it?

i would check in with a doctor for a swab if youre concerned

you definitely have some sort of infection going on

i would get a swab for peace of mind and so you are treating the right condition

the white lesions do look somewhat herpetic but i cant help but notice the drier skin to the edge -- which would be more consistent with a fungal infection?!? im not an expert so i would defer to your doctor
