Help!! Is this genital warts?

quite suddenly i had a really itchy vagina with quite a lot of discharge. i checked and theres white lumps in the vaginal opening and also the inner lips are red and inflamed. the gp said (over the phone) based on what i told her it sounded like genital warts but ive been with my partner for over 5 years, he doesnt have anything on him and ive never had anything like this before 😦 i had skin tags develop around the anus/vagina around 7 years ago and now im wondering if this whole time it couldve been warts and i had no idea!! help please. sorry for the graphics image

    Dear lizzie,

    I think you have two problems.

    The first problem is the the white discharge and itching. This is likely to be due to thrush. So try to get something from your local drugstore or pharmacist, like Canesten Duo, etc.

    The second problem are the lumps around the anus. These are genital warts, not haemorrhoids. And judging by their appearance and what you've written, you may have had them for a while. I suggest you see your doctor for some treatment and get checked for other STDs at the same time. Your partner needs to do the same as well.
