hi ive had these skin growths around my vagina for a couple of years. after googling them ive realised it could be genital warts. ive always though it was skin tags as they move around but after taking photos ive noticed the skin around my vagina looks abnormal too with loads of bumps. does it look like warts?imageimageimage

ive had mine a long time too. i was told ny a nurse on this who messaged me and asked a few question that she see no reason for concern from the photo & description i gave to her. she said its likely skin tags due to friction from underwear. im going to get tested for HPV anyway just to put my mind at ease. have u been tested for HPV?

i would say get a pap smear to get tested for hpv and have a dermatologist take a look and maybe to a biopsy . its better to be safe and put your mind at ease completely .

would the biopsy be to test for warts or something else? i personally thinkk theyre related to HPV. do u think it looks like HPV too? i havent had a smear test in over 11 years. im definelty going to get in contact with GP to sort one out. and also sexual health clinic

well you can go to the dermatologist and just ask the specialist to check out the bumps to see if they are genital wart but honestly even a doctor can misdiagnose a patient . thats why doing a biopsy would be better . just to make sure if it really is or isnt. if they confirm that it is then you have a strand of hpv that gives genital warts.
