I recently felt my mouth on my lip become a little sore, and i looked and there was a small white bump. i also recently went to the dentist two days before this. Does it look like herpes or what else could this be? its right under my gum line

it's not herpes as herpes usually occurs outside your mouth. You may just have canker sores, this can be healed within 3-7 days. Changing your diet and reducing stress cam help remove them fast.
