Help! Is this herpes? Blister outbreak

I'm freaking out and really need help. Three weeks ago I developed a sore patch on my right groin which turned into a cluster of blisters, it didn't hurt or itch and I did do a dry shave a few days earlier. I did get a swollen lymph in my right groin which disappeared after a couple of days. The blisters never oozed or crusted, and there was no pus but just clear/straw fluid. I also did not have headaches, nausea, muscle aches or even pain down there. I attacked it aggressively with hydrocortisone and antiseptic cream, and a week later I got another crop of satellite blisters. Could this be a weakened immune response to a bacterial infection? Eventually after two weeks the blisters healed and left a main patch of open skin in the middle which is now almost healed.

During the the first two days of this outbreak I got an IgG HSV 2 test which came back negative. Could this be HSV 1? I have been in a monogamous relationship for about 9 months and never had any outbreaks. My boyfriend is also monogamous to me and has not had any outbreaks. I am hoping it is a bacterial infection from shaving, but the blisters suggest herpes. Even though I have no idea how I might have gotten them given I have only had one partner in the last 9 months and I got a negative test!

The blisters didn't become oozy sores like the photos on the Internet. There was only one main sore patch in the middle. No pus, only clear fluid. Here are four images from the whole process from early blisters to healing.

Help!! Freaking out. !
