HELP Is this Vestibular Papillomatosis?

Posted , 6 users are following.

last month I had pelvic pain/pain when urinating (excessive)/Thrush. Doc did phone consultation and said I had a kidney infection which was treated with antibiotics. after checking in mirror I noticed these. Could they be V.P? I'm married with 2 children, smears always up to date and fine. STD test when pregnant in 2018.imageimage

Can you get seen by doc or atleast share a picture with he or she? it eems like it could be condition you are suspecting. It does not look like any sti I know of and you said no pain right? Also pretty sure that the most risky hpv is microscopic not large visible papules even if this is some kind if hpv.

Guessing your doc may want to monitor it longer and see what it does, ask about any other symptoms/pain or other medical conditions you have.

As far as sti testing goes (more for uti type symptoms which are very simmilar to chlamydia) I tell all my friends and other women to get yearly sti screenings even if in a seemingly committed/honest relationship and for women who suspect their partner having sex with others or know of it even more frequent testing. I was completely sideswipped by my partner not only stepping out of the relationship but as a result giving me chlamydia-a very treatable sti but one that can cause serious damage if not treated. My partner happened to struggle with a sex addiction I found out in time and was so good at lying that even being a very intuitive and perceptive person was not enough.....it took me getting symptoms and sort of jokingly asking him if about him doing something for him to surprise me with "actually yes" and "here's an antibiotic" !!! Anyways long aweful story but I also noticed I got many more utis and other inbalances with him that I dont get in the happy, trusting and committed relationship I am in now. Apparently it happens easier when more than two peoples bacteria/mirobioms are mixing...

Anyhow it seems like the papules are something else and I hope you get answers soon!

Thanks for getting back to, appreciate it. unfortunately I've experienced genital warts before (horrible ex 16 years ago) and they were not like this, but the mind does wander and you begin to second guess yourself, then think the worst. Had I not experienced the yeast/kidney infection then I wouldn't have looked so guess it's a good thing I did. The only alternative answer I could find was Vestibular Papillomatosis but I'm not convinced by that either. I shall call my G.P in the morning and see what they can do. Very strange!?

With regards to your advice to other women re STI testing, you are quite right. It's crossed my mind and I've asked my husband outright. I would hope to heck he would never do such a thing, but you never truly know somebody. I'll ensure all bases are covered when I see GP.

      Thanks again

Glad you are in a better more trusting relationship now. sounds like we've both been gone through some nasty stuff with Ex's.

Spoke to G.P with regards to my issue and she said certainty didn't sound like an STD from my description, although if they were to be tiny warts then just to leave them, as not causing pain. said it could just be something I've always had as we are all different down below? Will have to get it looked at when Covid-19 dies down.

I've sent a urine sample in so will see if that shows anything significant and if it's the cause of my tummy pain.
