Help! Is this vestibular papillomatosis or genital warts?

Posted , 5 users are following.

Hello! Does this look like VP or genital warts? My obgyne put TCA on it since she diagnosed it as genital warts. I am planning to see another dr soon for a 2nd opinion but i'd like to know if anyone is knowledgeable about this here? Also, some reassuring and kind msgs would be nice because this has been stressing me out since then.

Did you have them treated thinking they were genital warts?

Do you know if VP responds to TCA? cause they turned white and a few days after, they were gone. i'm just worried about possible recurrences.

{sorry about my English} Yes, the same thing happened to me, the doctor treated them with tca (as warts) and yes, the tca makes the skin white and then the grains fall off, knowing that she treated it with five doses, but it is still there, but in a smaller size, that acid caused me redness and scars lasts till now (3 months) But the important thing is that they are not warts.

Hi! Do you still have them or have you stopped getting treatments?

Hello, I am the same person, I'm just changed the account, so as I told you, the tca treats them, but they do not completely disappear!you can search in Google and confirm, and I think that the best treatment for them to disappear is the laser..for me sometimes it seems clear and other times it disappears, but the most important thing, that are not warts or hpv so accept it and live with it as long as it doesn't interfere with your daily life
