hello, im 17 year old girl. im sexually active since last year but im not having penetrative/vaginal sex yet. i have only one partner and hes my first. we have rubbing (skin to skin contact) and masturbate together. we never used condoms but now we do. 2 days ago ive noticed bumps on my vagina/vulva, i thought it was pimple and tried to pick it. then i thought it was razor burn, but after when i tried to pick it it spread to other parts on my vagina. im so scared, google says its herpes, im so nervous, if its herpes how? we had skin to skin contact before and never happened to me yet. can it be razor burn? also, i think that my lymph nodes near groin are kinda swollen. please help, i cant go to dr yet, my mom is strict and i cant tell her. please help!!!

minors shouldn't be on this site regardless, but since she is, and since she's having an issue that she can't tell her mom about, she may want to provide a picture so she can actually get help. 17 is a minor yet old enough, chill out

From what your are desrcibing you got genital herpes. If you dont want to go to doctor maybe you could try natural remedies. Tea tree oil is very effective on my blisters. I apply two drops on cotton ear bud and hold it directly to the blister. It stings a bit but it dries the blisters very fast. You can read on the internet more about benefits of using this oil for genital herpes.

I grew up with strict parents. Your avoidance is understandable. 99% chance your mom is like all other crazy strict mothers who are simply scared to death of situations like this (aka you in pain or harm's way). Point is, she'll freak even more if you start trying natural remedies or do other stuff to make things worse. As much as I love tea tree oil, your vagina/vulva is a very sensitive area consisting of mucous membranes (soft delicate tissues). There is NO guarantee tea tree oil will work for you short or long term. Don't want you to burn yourself with it or make the blisters worse. If you absolutely cannot go to your mother, how about a sister? An aunt? Any woman you can trust? If it is herpes, then you need proper treatment, support, etc. (it's not the end of you/the world, it'll just be temporarily high maintenance). Asking people online may seem comforting, but the best thing you can for yourself now and in the future is to see a doctor or talk to someone who will get you to a doctor. You can do this, you will be ok. Also please be careful who you message and who you send pictures to, both males and female! Be safe.
