HELP! Just had sex with someone who has a genital wart :(

so have a new sexual partner and i did everything to protect my health including asking him for a full STD panel and herpes test. His doctor said he was clean for everything. I still then ensured he used a condom!

Found out he's been suffering from warts all over his body since a child. He has one wart on the base of his penis where the condom likely didnt cover.

what are the chances that i will now be infected with HPV?? I had the HPV vaccine when i was a teenager (now in late 20s)

Why dont doctors inform better? i didnt know this was an issue until i google searched.

when after infection can i test for HPV???

If it's actually genital warts, then most likely you would get it too. but, if it turns out to be just some type of skin tag, then you're gonna be save.

sometimes skin tags looks like warts some doctors just see and immediately think its warts ...Only a biopsy can tell you for sure what it is!!

Since you have been vaccinated your chances of getting gw is extremely low compared to someone who is not vaccinated.

If you're not experiencing any symptoms you should be fine especially since you received the vaccine and used a condom. Be sure to visit your OBGYN for your scheduled pap smears.
