Help keeping dry

I know it important to keep the sores dry, but its hard because they keep leaking yellow gooey fluid. Has anyone else had this issue? What do you recommend?

Have you ever tried to apply topical creams? I used to take acyclovir and apply prosurx cream at the same time. They quickly eased discomfort and dried oping sores.
