i went to the doctors today and they ran the test for herpes but i wanted a second opinion. i have no pain, and the one section that is red the doctor swabbed it a few hours ago. i havent been sexually active in months again have no pain im kind of freaking out any other ideas on what this might be?

This is NOT herpes; it's likely to be molluscum contagiosum, a viral STD. Ask your doctor to re-examine you and get treated. And screen for other STDs.
Shaving the area risks spreading the infection, so for now just trim the pubic hair until the lesions clear.
