Help me please!

Well where to start? Im 20 years old and yesterday March 7th I found a sore that felt like a pimple but today when I got a shower there were 3bumps instead of 1. They are painful when clothes rub against then and when urinating. What should I do? When in high school they taught us what to look for but mine don't match the description. They aren't ulcer like. Any idea what I should do now?

That is how mine started out too. I would suggest going to the Obgyn right away so they can catch it while it's just begun so the antivirals will kick in faster and your first outbreak won't be as severe. Trust me the meds work wonders! And they'll give you lidocaine for the sores befor you use the restroom literally a life saver.

I would go into clinic to get a PCR swab of the bumps like asap. Within 48 hrs of them forming is most accurate result. Then depending on results of swab i would follow up with type specific igG blood testing and do this at 8 weeks and 12 weeks for sure. Then depending on your values of the bloodwork youll know if you have it or if you need further blood work done. Good luck!

And they are so new they will be able to get a good swab so your results will come back accurate. I sucks now but I promise it gets better!

It's so common they work with it everyday I'm sure! But the sooner the better so heals faster girl! I know how you feel tho! Thankfully I have good support so the initial diagnosis wasn't to bad
