HELP ME! Regurgitation and swallowing problems

Posted , 4 users are following.

For the past six weeks I have been having the same symptoms on and off. Regurgitation, difficulty swallowing, heartburn, tight chest and throat, fatigue, lump in throat sensation, hiccups, excessive belching, loss of appetite, and tinnitus. My doctor thought this was all due to my anxiety, and so she put me on antidepressants, which many be causing my ringing ears. Im also on four times a day nexium which has only helped with my heartburn and nothing else. My stomach has been rumbling recently as well and i'm getting these weird throat gurgles. I am only 18 so I doubt any of this has to do with esophageal cancer or other blockages, but its been in the back of my head constantly. Has anyone else expierenced anything like this before? Should I seek medical help? Please HELP ME!

I was having the same problem for a few years and nothing worked. I stated taking probiotics and that had helped so much. Started with Lactobacillus acidophilus, and take it two times a day. Watch your gluten intake too . Hope this helps

    Hi Alessio

I've not had all of those symptoms but a few months ago I did have some regurgitation, heartburn and slight nausea.

I have found eating small portions and drinking more water has helped, also cutting out fatty meals and especially bread.

I found that not eating after 7pm helped too.

I hope you see some improvement soon😊
