help my chest is too heavy to breathe in

I have woke up full of phelm and snot I feel like my body was like jelly I had my morning cig I know bad I couldn't take it back properly so I stopped I got my asthma inhaler and took it 3 timed to not be able to the it to my chest it's too heavy and tight it got rid of the wheezing but now my heart is beating really fast I can not for the life of me take a deep breathe in my chest feels locked /heavy I can't cough properly either .

I tried to have a drink it goes down just not very well my shoulders are aching I thought at first it was a chest infection but it may be a asthma attack I don't have asthma attack normally but I do have asthma .

I had chest pain all day yesterday so it explains if it was a chest infection that I thought was heart attack im rambling on now and I can not calm my heart shaking or heavy chest down 😢😢

    hello steph so your saying the ain is in both sides and dos the pain feel like its kinda putting pressure on your heart to like worrynes in your heart or no?and do you strugle wih anxiety? and if you have asthmas that can be the situation but it also sounds like anxiety cause it causes that to and try to calm down and distract your self cause the more you worry the wrse it can get just start thinking positive that its all in your head and that everythngs gonna be ok and let me tell you smoking only can get it worse and may cause the anxiety to get worse and panic more can you get back at me of how your feeling now and how old are you and trustme you can get threw this my friend

      Hi I don't know if it was a asthma attack or what i don't know if it was anxiety but it jut felt my chest was so heavy asif somebody has sat on it it's a little better now I can get a deep breathe in but the pain is still there I have got a cold I think so it may actually be a infection but I have never exerperienced it before xx

    Go see your GP. You may have an infection which needs Antibiotics. I am still getting over a viral infection which I've had for over 3 weeks. I struggled with breathing also. My anxiety is also bad at the moment and I have the most awful aching in my neck and shoulders. I didn't go to GP until yesterday. Make an appt. you'll be fine.

      Thankyou I think it may be a infection because I have been sneezing a lot I have shoulder ache and chest pain maybe a bug going around I just litrally felt I had somebody sat on my chest xx

      Make the appointment Steph. No use doing what I did and burying my head in the sand. I'm 3 weeks into it.
