Help my son has lines in his vision.

My son was sick about two years ago. He had weight loss, diarrhea, fatigue, and three horizontal lines in his vision. One at the top, one in the middle and one at the lower end. Both eyes same spot always there. The other symptoms have subsided but the lines have remained there. We saw several optometrists, neurooptometrists, and neurologists all of which have said everything is fine with him. Last night he told my wife and I that the lines have gotten worse over the last week. We don't know where to turn and was curious if anyone on here heard of eye symptoms like this before? Thanks in advance for any information.

Are the lines straight or wavy? What was the diagnosis of his original symptoms? Is he taking any medication? Is his blood pressure OK?Has he had a brain scan?

The lines are straight. At first the doctors thought he picked something up from when he was in Haiti. They did all kind of bloodwork, stool sample testing, lyme disease testing, endoscopy and nobody could give a diagnosis. The other symptoms subsided and he put some weight back on. Yes they did a brain scan and several doctors said everything is normal. He's not taking any meds. Thanks for trying to help.

Many timers Lyme tests are inaccurate, you might look into Biotoxin Illness.

Thank you Ill see if they tested for biotoxin illness.

If he saw the experts 2 years ago and now the eye symptoms are worse he should see them again. Something not picked up 2 years ago may now be more obvious. Has he been tested for diabetes?

He was tested for diabetes and no indications of it. We have scheduled an appointment with the best eye institute in our area. Again i appreciate your input. Thank you so much.
