Help -nausea and back pain

I am a 34 year old male . Non smoking or drinking . I’ve been experiencing extreme nausea that last for days . It’s kept me from eating . Which equals weight loss . Also been having back pain in between my shoulder blades . I am not sure if this is from laying in the bed to long or long periods . Takes weeks to see a specialist and more weeks to have a procedure . I am hoping there are people out there that might have some insight or even similar symptoms. Sometimes might have minor cramping or pain in my upper abdomen. By upper abdomen I mean the area below the chest / peck area that doctors normally push in to feel for tenderness etc . Also left out that i had a barium swallow done and the doctors found a diverticulitis at bottom of my esophagus. But they claim it’s very small and shouldn’t cause any symptoms. Any knowledge would be helpful thanks !

Have you had an endoscopy to look for gastritis which can cause pain between your shoulder blades? Gallbladder trouble can also cause nausea and pain between your shoulder blades along with abdominal pain. Ask for an abdominal ultrasound to check your gallbladder and a HIDA scan to check its function. Have you tried a food diary to see if food is causing your symptoms? When you say you have a diverticulitis at the bottom of your oesophagus, do you mean a hiatus hernia? Diverticulitis describes pouches on your colon that can get irritated because of infection.

Hey thanks for the quick reply and information !! Yes you can actually get diverticulitis on your esophagus. In fact I didn’t even know I had it . I was panicking about having a sore throat and feeling of something in my throat . I started having major fatigue . “Which I think it’s from anxiety “ from reading crazy information online . So I ordered a barium swallow and it showed the diverticulitis right on my esophagus where it meets the stomach . They said it was very small and it’s not causing any major symptoms. In the past week my back pain has gotten worst 😦 same as the constant nausea . I literally have to force my self to eat . I can’t get out of bed because I feel horrible . So I don’t know if me laying In Bed and looking at my phone and it is causing my upper spine pain . I haven’t had a endoscopy yet . But Monday I plan on calling a GI doctor to have one ordered . In the past month . The nausea has come in waves . But I normally get my apatite back . But I haven’t recently . I have not tried any food diary ?

I have come to find out explaining symptoms isn’t as easy as it sounds lol . When you look up even the most common symptoms online it points to death . After reading these forums people that Have gone through certain things almost know more then doctors .
