Hi, wondered if anyone can help or advise with a problem I have please?

I sleep well and don't have to get up in the night to pass urine, but when I get up in the morning I have problems getting to the bathroom without wetting myself? The urge is very bad, unfortunately my bathroom is downstairs making it harder to get there in time?

I don't have the problem in the day just on waking?

Do some male pelvic floor exercises which should strengthen things in there and will then be able to hold... Hopefully.biggrin

Hi...i was diagnosed with urge incontinence (i had/have it 24/7) , but needed to go to the loo in the middle of the night. As soon as i stood up i more or less went. My toilet is also downstairs which makes things even more "interesting"!!

Like Gillian said go to your doctor asap and get a proper diagnosis. After that you can take things as they come. The longer you leave it the more stressful it becomes (well it did for me anyway!)

    Good luck... x
