hello,

i had what i thought is a yeast infection a few days ago. i took fluconizole and i used vaginal anti itch cream. the next day i woke up to these, inside and out, basically everywhere i put the cream. i went to the ob-gyn and am awaiting results. i am horrified and devastated thinking its herpes, but they arent blisters? the doctor said the same, she couldnt give me an idea. does anyone have any idea what these are?!

my areas started out like that sorta, but began to change very quickly- just keep an eye out on them and see if they begin to change

i dont have a confirmed hsv2 case, my bloodwork came back negative but they didnt test for igg or igm antibodies, they tested for HSV2 dna but those tests arent very reliable so idk why they even used that test

look at the side effects of the cream. dont those creams cause skin irritation? I think those creams can even cause blisters, im not sure. they arent red and they dont look wet looking from what I can see, so I dont think that's herpes

i appreciate your reply! my test came back abnormal for hsv1 which is very confusing because most people have that anyways (cold sores etc). i was prescribed valtrex and it doesnt seem to be helping which makes me wonder if it isnt an outbreak and rather a reaction. ill take it every day just to ease my mind but im so confused!
