Look up intrnet for symptoms of deprssion They can vary from person to person.  No does not cause pain, but you can experienceb some physical symptoms like headaches or aches.  Best to see a doctor if you think you have depression.  Are you feeling very low and unmotivated?

hi ross unfortuatly even one is affect different ! some people also suffer from anxiety which can cause headaches also it can cause muscle pain and cramp ! i would say your first thing to do is to go to your doctor and tell him how you are couping and take on board what he recommends and i wish you all the best david !

I would go to the gp and speak about how your feeling, was daunting at first but you will feel a lot better afterwards, making a appointment was taken out of my hands as my girlfriend made one for me and to this day I am thankful to her and am still feeling low sometimes but am hell a lot better than I was before but to get back on topic I would go to your doctors and explain how you feel and see what they suggest, it's nothing to be afraid of, once I got that perscription in my hands I knew I was on the mend
