It's started on sat when I felt like something was falling out and fell a big lump. Have seen a doc on Sunday who basically said nothing was there. Had a smear on Monday nurse didn't mention it today saw the doc who said what it was but has not referred me any where she is more interested in the fm fact my cervix was red and swollen at my smear.

I'm back with her on 6th re my cervix. I had burning when I pee for about a month is that a normal symptom of a prolapse ?

Not really, but it would depend on how low down the prolapse is. If it's really low, ie, can feel it below your vagina, it could do,
You need to get a list of questions written down that you can ask your gp when you go back.
If it's just happened and isn't causing any problems,he might decide to refer you for physio.

She has told me I need to do pelvic floor exercises for 6 months. I'm such a worrier I keep thinking what if it's something more serious

Hi kay, when I suspected a prolapse I was referred to a urogynacologist. A front wall prolapse is like a pink bulge atbtge entrance of the vagina. In some ladijes it can be lowe at the front. It felt likje a stuck tampon when I walked and standing for a long time. Please ask any questions love because its quite worrying when you have all these questions in your head. We have all been there, don't it and some of us are having to go through it againxx

If your dr thinks it could be something more serious she wouldn't be waiting until the 6th to see you.
A prolapse is very smooth, almost like a water filled balloon when you feel it, if she wants you to do kegals she must think that you can maybe strengthen your pelvic floor enough by doing that.
Go with that, you don't want to be going down the surgery route unless it's absolutely necessary.

It's just the stranges thing ever sometimes it almost comes out of my vagina and feels round but other times it's more inside and when I put my finger in to feel it it felt like a sausage or something 😳

If its a anterior prolapse its your bladder/urethra that's dropped down. Mine was moderate but over time would of got worse..x

Yes that's what its like., really strange feeling. It drove me crazy, and it still does. coconut oil is the only thing that eases the feeling for a bit. .x

The kegals will strengthen but won't reverse it, but will stop it getting worse. Another important thing to remember is no heavy lifting. Gun.

Your gp probably thinks that if you can strengthen the vaginal walls enough to hold it in place it will be better to try that first.

I regret looking in the mirror - the position I had to get myself in was like some form of yoga 😳 The bulge thing looked like it had a slight cut on it the doc said it just looked a bit sore and irritated
