What can I take for cold symptoms- sore throat, running nose etc., while taking sertraline? So many things interact with sertraline and i dont want more issues. THANKS IN ADVANCE

hi dawn I know this might not be helpful but I would ask the pharmacist, paracetamol is ok and the dr where I work said sudofed was ok but may make you feel a bit jittery when I asked him if I could take it, also if you need a stronger pain killer

paracetamol and co codamol is ok but only for a short time. but as I said best person to ask is your pharmacist or if you cannot go out and you are in the uk then call 111 and they can advise you. hope you feel better soon x

iv taken Paracetamel for Head ache while on Sertraline. Takes the head ache away and no side effects.

so you should be ok with that.

Hi, paracetamol is fine, but my doctor said I can take literally anything with Sertraline, it's very safe. I took ibuprofen (since paracetamol does not work very well for me), antibiotics and all was fine.
