I have burning in the vulva dryness and sensations of pins, pain in the perineum especially after masturbating, I gave birth 5 months ago but I have not yet had intercourse for this discomfort. What could it be?

    Hi, did you have vaginal birth ? if so there could be some damage nerves during the delivery. When your masturbating are you inserting your fingers toy etc. in you ? Your perineum most likely did get stretched if you had vaginal birth.

      yes I had a vaginal delivery with a 2nd degree tear. yes I inserted my fingers. is it something that can be solved in your opinion?

      Try to consult with your doctor as it have a lot of factors that would cause your problem. As I see with your pictures, it doesn't look like it has a scar so it might be some nerve problem or might be some inner inflammation.

      I believe over time you may feel better as far as the pain of pins and needles. Nerve damage is slow to heal. It is important to understand where the pain is coming from and when does it occur. If it only occurs when you finger yourself and start to really run and press at your self than most likely that is the area of nerve damage. You can consult your doctor to advise of a specialist however i am not sure what they can do with nerves. The dryness and other thing you can test your PH to see if you have a YI or BV
