It is very unlikely that you are suffering with Colon Cancer at such a very young age.

It is a lot more likely that you have a Gluten-related disorder, or maybe it is connected in some way to your general anxiety condition.

The only way you are going to find out for certain is by visiting a doctor, which is something that you should do if this problem really troubles you.

In the meanwhile I would advise you to read-up on Gluten disorders, and pay little attention to any reference referring to cancer, because nothing you have said indicates that you may have it.

I honestly do not think you have colon cancer.  But if you are worried, push your mom to let her take you to the doctor.  Try for a CT scan, it'll show most problems and will set your mind at ease if there is nothing to worry about.  I'm 17 also, and I have had blood mixed in with stool for a while now.  The doctor's took stool tests and bloods, which all came back negative.  I'm still going in for more tests though, to set my mind at ease.  I have had the stomach/abdominal pains too.  The blood could have been from when you were constipated, or straining too hard as bright red indicates lower GI bleeding, not upper intestinal.  If you are really unsure, and need reassurance, go for a colonoscopy.  You will be sedated anyway so you won't know what is happening.  I'm trying to go for one for myself too.  Cancer CAN occur in people our age, but it is rare.

The heavy breathing is probably due to anxiety--i know--i have it myself

I don't think it's cancer. The blood in your poop is probably caused by piles which is a common symptom in people who are very overweight. I would ask your GP to arrange for you to have a sigmoidoscopy at your local hospital. This is a fairly quick and painless procedure (10 -15 minutes) and will diagnose a lot of problems  including piles. But it sounds like your real problem is a dietary one.
