Dear vic,
Are you referring to the two small sores (see picture below)?
You haven't given us enough history to help narrow the diagnosis; for example:
When was the last time you had sex; and who was it with (regular or casual)?
When did the spots start to appear (after sex)?
Are they painful, painless, itchy?
Has this happened before?
You shave the area- do you think you could have cut the skin?
Thanks,
Adhari

hi thanks for your reply. I last had sex just over a week ago with my long term partner or 3 years. I had a full sti in March when I got my pill prescription and was all clear. and yeah those sores and the unusual thick white yellow creamy paste like discharge they are painless and no itching but did hurt when I urinated until 2 days ago. and I've had them since last Saturday but was sore immediately after sex and thought I had torn during it as was friction and rough also I shaved the day I had sex

I did put a previous post on of the sores how they looked when they first appeared and sure you commented saying possible herpes... is this how herpes progresses I've had a swob taken but obvs no results as of yet

Thank you. Apologies as I don't recall all the cases I've commented on!
I would still consider herpes as the most likely diagnosis and the recent return of albeit milder symptoms would be in keeping with a recurrence.

okay thank you. I have had a swob taken but obvs waiting on results. I'm currently taking aciclovir this will be my fifth day on them. really hope it isnt herpes but the doctor advised that if it is it was a mild case for a first occurrence so could possibly be caused by type 1 and I have probably had it for years without symptoms. just a really stressful time waiting for results. really hope it isnt herpes
