Help!! Stomach pain and other symptoms

Right over a week ago I started to have diarrhoea I left it obviously thought it was just a bug...then a few days later I noticed blood in the toilet..I went to the doctors and did a sample which was more blood tbh and the doctor said if it got worse to go to a n e but she thinks it could just be an infection..anyway on Friday night I suddenly got pain in my stomach above my belly button and up and moved to the right side and couldn't stop being sick anyway the blood got a lot more and the pain got worse so I went to the hospital they did blood test gave me fluids as I was dehydrated I was there for over 11 hours without actually seeing someone after they gave me fluids and my anxiety got the better of me and I discharged myself the pain is still there is still have blood and sickness so I visited the doctor on the monday and the blood test showed there was inflammation or infection somewhere in my body they said to carry on and see what happens when it clears if the blood carries on with the sickness then I need to have a colonoscapy but if it doesn't clear for ages I'm not sure where to go they mentioned at the hosp about it maybe colitis or inflammation of the bowel so wondering if anyone had any simular problems thanks

    I suddenly got severe diarrhea and going toilet over 20 times a day and thought it was a bug until I got bloody diarrhea lasting about 4 day's. I went doctor and did a stool sample which showed inflammation. I had Colonoscopy which they couldn't visualise properly due to inflammation. I'm now waiting for MRI. I'm told its either infection or crohns. Any bleeding even if it has stopped requires investigation. You need a Colonoscopy or to be transferred to a bowel specialist within 2 weeks. I had symptoms a week and nothing since but I still have inflammation which if it's crohns needs treatment otherwise I'll get it again. Your doctors should be referring you as you could have ibd. My specialist said to me any bleeding needs to be referred in 2 weeks and not left to see if it clears up

      Thank u for answering. They said to me that they couldn't do a camera yet as I'm still in pain but it's just waiting for it to go

      I can't stand the sickness and not knowing how long I'm going to be in pain for is really doing my head in but the symptoms you have and what happened with the blood test etc is like what's happening to me.when is your mri scan do u no?

      Yeh I might give it a few more days to see how it goes if its still there then I will go back and ask for one as don't no how long this is going to go on for thanks for answering
