Help! Stool is soft, but I can't get it out :(

Hi guys

I am desperate

I had a hemmorhoidectomy this past Friday - a stapled hem and two large skin tags removed

Since the surgery, my recovery has been incredibly painful and uncomfortable.

I have yet to make a full bowel movement -- My stool is soft and pliable for the most part, but when it reaches the opening to exit, it doesn't go any further than a centimeter or so

I am physically pulling it out with a gloved finger because I am terrified of stretching my stitches and ripping them if I push too hard or keep it in "position." It feels like my rectum is full of stool and it just keeps coming/sitting there.

I am taking two colace daily as well as miralax in the morning. Prior I was using milk of magnesia but nothing has really seemed to work in terms of helping me expel.

Every time I pull a finger tip of fecal matter out, the pain is incredible and I hop in the shower right away to clean the incision site and to ease the pain

If it wasn't for this issue, I would have been back to work already

I am miserable and cannot do this much longer

Does anyone have any input or suggestions for me?

Thank you so much in advance!!
