Help. Terrifying symptoms since the last year. 24/7 vertigo among others

I'm a 19 year old male from South. I have been experiencing a lot of terrifying symptoms since the past 12 months.

First of all, I have this 24/7 pulling back/falling backwards sensation at the back of my head and nape. I'm not sure if this classifies as Dizziness or vertigo. It doesn't matter what position I am in and it makes walking hard let alone run. Other than that there's this constant pressure feeling in the same region - at times there's even mild pain though very rarely. Theres pain, also there used to be mild pain in my temples, also rarely especially while trying to sleep.

This symptom has been transforming all this time, like at first at was just a spinning sensation in the head that I felt at random times in a day. Then it turned to this sudden severe jerk in the head which felt like falling down and it only happened if I stood up/walked for more than a few minutes. Then again it changed to a feeling of getting pulled towards the ground as if gravity increased. Then it changed to a floating sensation whilst walking. Sometimes my legs feel like they got a lot heavier. If I close my eyes and try to walk I almost completely lose my balance and my eyes open as a reflex. After a jog or exercise all of this worsens and is accompanied by another strange thing, when I sit down after excerise, my vision zooms in and zooms out rapidly for like half an hour. But even if I'm at rest without any exercise, and I focus my eyes at a fixed point, I can notice my vision moving side to side, this doesn't happen if I don't focus. All of this gets severe or mild at random times of the day. I have had an MRI of my brain and cervical spine 2 months ago and it came out clear. Despite all this, I have never actually fallen down once.

I've met an ENT doctor who inspected my ears and said there's nothing wrong but still asked me to perform some ear test just case and said that it would mostly like come out clear (I haven't done it yet)

2) Body Tremors. Another symptom that has been changing with time. Any body part I move experiences a strong or weak tremor. Or if I'm doing an activity like toothbrushing the Tremors occur at my head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, chest, abdomen, sometimes severe sometimes mild. These strong tremors go away for a couple of months and then return. But the weak shivering remains and is most noticeable when I apply force, for example if I clench my fist hard I can see and feel it shivering. Also, I used to have a sensation in my fingers and limbs that felt like they're falling off, especially if I placed them at the edge of something for a while, for example if I placed my hand at the edge of the bed with my fingers hanging off the edye, I would suddenly experience a jerk in the fingers that felt like they're falling off.

These days I feel like my upper body is constantly vibrating especially when I try to sleep.

3) Heart related symptoms. Sometimes I experience fluttering in my chest as if something is touching my chest from the inside, though this hadn't happened in a while.

I feel some forceful beats and skipped beats. And overall discomfort at the chest. At night while trying to sleep i feel pressure in my chest. I also rarely experience Ectopic Heartbeats which are sometimes mild and sometimes severe enough to shake me up entirely. At this one time I bent down to pick up something when my heart suddenly lost control as if it got disconnected from my chest and started bouncing and it repeated once again afterwards when I quickly tried to sit down following the bending down. This was my worst experience of Ectopic Heartbeats and it hasn't repeated again of the same intensity but they can still be strong enough to shake me up entirely, again they happen rarely, once in a week or two. I've met a Cardiologist who couldn't pick up anything upon inspection, my pulse is normal, suger is normal and ECG is normal, my upper blood pressure ranges from 120-140 (upto 160 if I'm extremely stressed) and lower is optimum. I've been asked to have an ETT and an Echocardiogram done

I can feel my pulse anywhere in my body when I apply force to some part. I can feel my pulse rocking my body. I also feel hot/cold flashes in my chest at times. I sweat more than an average person but that could be genetic.

I experience rare sharp pain in the extreme left side of the chest (left of the nipple), right under the armpit, it lasts for a second. And on extremely rare occasions these sharp pains can go on for an hour. Mostly after eating.

4) Shortness of Breath. I feel short of breath though mildly at random times of the day lasting for not more than hour. Especially after eating full.

All of these symptoms of mine get better at some time of the day and get servere at other times. Sometimes, I can feel a sudden wave that brings up all the symptoms. For example if I'm sitting around having fun, suddenly I experience a strong palpitation, followed by increased vertigo (or whatever it is) and the mild shortness of breath, also at the same time I feel a crawling sensations under my testicles.

I also experience very mild nausea, mostly in an empty stamoch.

So these were all my symptoms and they're making life very hard. I've had panic attacks and stuff. Some doctors I've met say it's health anxiety but I agree. Cus' Stress symptoms don't include some of the symptoms I have. I was given several medicals tests. Thyroid ultrasound, a lot of blood tests, ETT + Echo, MRI and the ear test whose name I can't read.

MRI was clear. I've only done two blood tests so far, Thyroid blood test (TS4 and T4) which came out normal. And the Parathyroid test, PHT Intact, which was wayyy below normal. I have yet to perform the other blood tests and all since they are very expensive.

So does anyone have any idea what's wrong with me?

I am also a 19 year old male and I have had vertigo for 6 months now. My gp first told me it was caused from a viral infection and that it should go in about 7 weeks. After this it was still not gone so he then told me the reason i still have it is anxiety. I had numerous blood tests and an ecg which all came back clear. About 4 months in with a constant rocking sensation and feeling like im walking on a trampoline i saw a vrt specialist who diagnosed me with vestibular neuritis. He gave me numerous exercises to do which really helped but didnt get rid of it. I think your heart palpations and so on could be anxiety related as I have had similar feelings. Having this feeling is horrible at any age but its especially awful having it at such a young age as 19 as this is the age we should be going out with our friends without having to worry about things like these. It feels like you're never going to feel the same but you will and we all will. I hope this has somehow helped and wish you the best with your recovery! Drop me a private message if you ever want to talk mate.

The sharp pains after eating may be in relation to acid reflux, a condition called GERD. I am not a doctor but from what I've researched, the left vagus nerve is located near the bottom of the esophagus and can create chest pains and nausea on empty stomach, etc.. GERD can also create breathing problems.

Hi it sounds like either migraine associated vertigo or vestibular migraine.  I started with all of that including the shaking and palpitations.  I was dizzy not spinning as it vertigo but lightheaded and unsteady.  Ive had all the tests and most GPs and ENTs dont know whats wrong.  I was referred to a neurologist and I have migraine associated vertigo.  I suggest you see your GP and ask to see a neuro.  Its very common so dont panic and its not life threatening.  Some of your symptoms will be anxiety that its brought with it and understandably so.  If you want to read more about it check out migraine com website.  Migraine is not just a headache and sometimes you dont even get the headache at all as in silent migraine.  Its caused by excess electricity which goes over your brain stem and whatever it crosses gives you these weird and wonderful side effects.  There are lots of medications that can be tried to calm it all down.
